Check with seller Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and technical Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, security, and operation of our company facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that our workplace is safe, functional, and efficient, while managing external contractors and internal maintenance projects to support a productive working environment.
Job Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations: Plan and manage the preventative and corrective maintenance of office infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and fire safety systems.
Space Management: Optimize office layout and space utilization to meet the company’s changing operational needs.
Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise external service providers (janitorial, security, landscaping, construction, and repair contractors), ensuring high quality of service and cost-efficiency.
Health & Safety (HSE): Ensure the office complies with all local building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental health and safety standards.
Asset Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of company assets, equipment, and furniture; manage the lifecycle and replacement of major office hardware.
Budgeting: Develop and monitor the annual facilities budget, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality.
Emergency Response: Serve as the primary point of contact for building emergencies, managing security protocols and disaster recovery planning.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil), or related technical fields.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in facility management or operations management, preferably in a corporate office or commercial building setting.
Technical Skills:
Solid knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing).
Proficiency in project management software and facility management software.
Understanding of safety and compliance regulations (e.g., fire safety, workplace health standards).
Soft Skills:
Problem-Solving: Highly analytical, with the ability to quickly diagnose technical issues and implement cost-effective repairs.
Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills for vendor contract management.
Communication: Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
Planning: Strong organizational skills for multi-tasking technical projects and daily maintenance.
