We are seeking a physically fit, highly adaptable, and motivated General Crew Helper to support our field operations, event setups, and technical crews. In this role, you will be the multi-functional backbone of the team, responsible for handling heavy equipment, preparing work sites, and assisting skilled technicians or crew leads across various projects. You will balance intense physical stamina with a proactive work ethic, ensuring that all logistical and manual tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities
Site Preparation & Staging: Arrive early to clear obstacles, set up safety barriers, and arrange raw materials or specialized gear at the work site before the main technical crew arrives.

Heavy Lifting & Gear Logistics: Load, unload, and transport heavy machinery, production cases, tools, and structures manually or using basic utility carts and straps.

Assisting Technical Crew Leads: Provide direct, immediate support to mechanics, engineers, carpenters, or event leads by holding parts, running errands, or managing tool handovers.

Basic Hand Tool Operation: Safely utilize a variety of standard mechanical and power tools (e.g., wrenches, drills, hammers, tape measures) to assist in basic assembly or dismantling tasks.

Safety Zone Maintenance: Enforce strict workplace hazard management by laying down cable protectors, cleaning up spills, and ensuring all walking paths remain completely hazard-free.

Site Pack-Out & Cleanliness: Gather, inventory, and wipe down all company tools and equipment post-project, loading trucks efficiently and returning the site to its original pristine condition.

Flexible Task Rotation: Adapt instantly to sudden changes in project scope, moving from administrative running duties to intense manual labor based on the crew’s real-time needs.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; basic certifications in workplace safety, first aid, or heavy equipment handling are highly preferred.

Experience: 0–2+ years of experience in event crew operations, construction support, staging logistics, or any demanding field requiring intensive manual labor.

Technical Skills:

Basic proficiency and comfort in handling a wide range of manual hand tools and basic mechanical utility gear.

Ability to read, interpret, and quickly execute basic layout diagrams, checklist manifests, and verbal blueprints.

Solid understanding of proper ergonomic lifting techniques and standard personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Exceptional physical health and endurance; capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and remaining active on your feet for long, exhausting shifts.
