We are seeking a physically strong, highly motivated, and dependable General Laborer to join our live events, concert, and theater production crew. In this role, you will be responsible for the essential heavy lifting and manual labor required to transform empty venues into spectacular entertainment spaces. You will balance intense physical stamina with a proactive work ethic, assisting specialized technicians, carpenters, and logistics leads during the critical load-in, setup, and strike phases of a project. If you possess a solid sense of reliability, a hands-on attitude, and the ability to work effectively under tight, event-driven deadlines, this is an outstanding opportunity to gain experience in the live entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities
Load-In & Truck Unloading: Assist in unloading heavy production trucks, safely rolling road cases, staging structures, and technical gear into the venue footprint.

Physical Set Assembly: Manually move and help erect heavy event infrastructure, including steel barricades, crowd control fences, temporary flooring, and basic truss structures.

Seating & Decor Placement: Set up, align, and wipe down hundreds of guest chairs, bleachers, VIP tables, pop-up tents, and decorative layouts based on the event floor plan.

Manual Cable & Gear Routing: Help lay out heavy power distribution cables, multi-core snakes, and water hoses across the venue, securing them properly under rubber cable ramps to ensure public safety.

Site Maintenance & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean work environment during setup and show days by constantly collecting trash, managing recycling bins, and clearing pathways of debris.

Post-Event Strike & Packing: Dismantle stages and event layouts immediately post-show; sort, count, and pack assets, tools, and hardware back into their designated transport containers.

Asset Inventory Tracking: Assist logistics supervisors in verifying physical equipment counts against packing manifests to ensure no company tools or rental assets are left behind.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; basic certifications in general construction safety or event operations are a plus.

Experience: 0–2+ years of experience in heavy manual labor, commercial moving, construction support, warehousing, or event kitting.

Technical Skills:

Basic familiarity with utilizing manual hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, tie-downs, and ratchet straps).

Understanding of basic workplace safety measures, including proper posture for heavy lifting and high-visibility apparel rules.

Ability to read basic directional signs, zone maps, and checklist manifests accurately.

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical stamina and muscular strength; capable of lifting up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly and working long hours on your feet.

Highly reliable, punctual, and adaptable, with the flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
