Key Responsibilities
Visitor Reception & Ticketing: Greet museum attendees enthusiastically, manage front-desk admissions, scan digital tickets/QR codes, process membership registrations, and distribute gallery maps.

Exhibit Safeguarding & Asset Protection: Monitor assigned gallery rooms and exhibition zones actively, ensuring visitors strictly adhere to preservation rules (e.g., no touching artifacts, no flash photography, maintaining safety barriers).

Tour & Group Coordination: Receive, organize, and guide school field trips, tourist groups, and VIP delegations, ensuring they transition smoothly between wings without causing gallery bottlenecks.

Interactive Exhibit Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on digital media displays, audio guides, and interactive learning kiosks, resetting equipment or reporting technical faults immediately to the IT crew.

Information Concierge Services: Memorize museum layouts, permanent collection details, and temporary exhibition schedules to accurately answer visitor inquiries and share historical insights.

Crowd & Event Logistics Support: Assist with logistical setups for private gallery openings, lecture series, and cultural workshops, managing seat layouts, directional signage, and queue lines.

Opening/Closing Logistics & Evacuation: Execute strict opening and lockdown procedures daily; maintain constant alertness to manage emergency evacuations or first-aid incidents calmly and professionally.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; coursework or a degree in History, Museum Studies, Archaeology, Tourism, or Hospitality is highly preferred.

Experience: 0–2+ years of experience in museum operations, tour guiding, high-end guest relations, event hosting, or premium customer service.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) terminals, digital ticket scanners, and tablet-based reservation software.

Familiarity with standard museum etiquette, preservation terminology, and basic asset loss-prevention protocols.

Ability to read, interpret, and communicate historical timelines, complex gallery layouts, and event schedules seamlessly.
