We are seeking a vigilant, authoritative, and highly composed Security and Crowd Control Specialist to join our event safety and venue operations team. In this role, you will be the primary line of defense in maintaining order, safeguarding property, and ensuring public safety during high-profile concerts, sports matches, festivals, or conventions. You will balance a highly visible, authoritative presence with a courteous customer-service approach, managing large queues, enforcing venue entry rules, and diffusing volatile situations calmly and effectively. Key Responsibilities
Access Control & Patron Screening: Monitor venue entry points, execute thorough security checks (including bag searches, metal detector wanding, and age/ID verification), and prevent unauthorized or prohibited items from entering the facility.

Crowd Flow & Queue Management: Position yourself strategically at major bottlenecks, barricades, or main stages to guide large crowds, keep emergency evacuation pathways completely clear, and prevent dangerous surges.

De-escalation & Incident Response: Actively monitor patron behavior to spot escalating verbal or physical altercations; intervene swiftly, using professional verbal de-escalation techniques to defuse tension before it disrupts the event.

Ejection & Law Enforcement Coordination: Safely and professionally escort non-compliant, disruptive, or overly intoxicated patrons out of the venue, collaborating closely with local law enforcement and medical response teams when necessary.

Asset & Backstage Protection: Guard restricted zones, VIP lounges, green rooms, and production equipment areas, verifying crew credentials meticulously to ensure only authorized personnel gain access.

Emergency Evacuation Leadership: Act as a critical leader during sudden emergencies, fires, or medical crises, remaining perfectly calm while directing large groups of anxious patrons safely to designated assembly areas.

Incident Reporting & Documentation: Complete detailed, objective, and timely shift reports documenting any property damage, physical interventions, medical emergencies, or security breaches for legal compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; holding a valid state security guard license, crowd management certification, or training in conflict resolution/first aid (CPR/AED) is highly required.

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in event security, venue crowd control, nightlife bouncer roles, executive protection, or military/law enforcement backgrounds.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in utilizing multi-channel two-way radios, earpieces, and standard security codes for clear, rapid team communication.

Expertise in operating digital security equipment, including handheld metal detectors (wands), walk-through scanners, and basic digital incident logging apps.

Deep understanding of legal boundaries regarding physical restraint, citizen detentions, asset protection laws, and public safety regulations.

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical health, core strength, and stamina; capable of standing or patrolling for full 10–12+ hour shifts in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).

An articulate, diplomatic, and exceptionally assertive communicator who can command authority firmly while maintaining a polite, respectful demeanor.
