We are seeking a polished, welcoming, and highly organized Usher, Lobby Attendant, and Ticket Taker to join our event operations and guest services team. In this role, you will serve as the face of our venue, responsible for greeting guests, verifying tickets, managing entry points, and guiding attendees to their correct seats. You will balance a warm, hospitable demeanor with strict crowd control and safety monitoring to ensure every event runs smoothly from doors-open to final curtain call. Key Responsibilities
Ticket Verification & Entry Control: Greet arriving guests enthusiastically, scan digital barcodes, collect physical tickets, and verify passes or wristbands to ensure authorized entry into the venue.

Guest Guidance & Ushering: Direct patrons to their designated seats, sections, concession stands, and restrooms, utilizing seating charts to resolve duplicate seating or ticket discrepancies quickly.

Lobby Reception & Information Services: Maintain a visible presence in the lobby area to answer guest inquiries regarding event schedules, running times, venue policies, and local amenities.

Crowd Management & Queue Flow: Organize and monitor queues at entrance gates, ticket booths, and doors to prevent bottlenecks, maintaining an orderly and efficient flow of pedestrian traffic.

Seating & Accessibility Support: Assist elderly guests, families with small children, and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they are escorted safely to accessible seating zones and provided necessary accommodations.

Venue Inspection & Tidiness: Conduct pre- and post-event checks of the lobby, seating aisles, and corridors, clearing minor litter, resetting seats, and ensuring pathways remain completely free of trip hazards.

Safety Enforcement & Emergency Response: Monitor audience behavior constantly to enforce venue rules (e.g., no flash photography, smoking bans); assist in executing orderly evacuations in the event of an emergency.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; hospitality, event management training, or basic emergency response certifications (First Aid/CPR) are a plus.

Experience: 0–2+ years of experience in guest relations, hospitality services, theater operations, live entertainment venues, or customer-facing retail.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating handheld digital ticket scanners, scanning apps on smartphones, and navigating basic Point of Sale (POS) terminals.

Ability to read, interpret, and quickly memorize venue layouts, row/seat numbering systems, and event schedules.

Familiarity with public safety rules, crowd control techniques, and venue security protocols.
