Key Responsibilities
Route Navigation: Efficiently navigate assigned routes, following established sequences to deliver mail, magazines, and parcels to residential and commercial addresses.

Sorting & Preparation: Organize mail by route sequence at the facility before departure, ensuring all items are loaded securely for transit.

Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with residents and business owners, providing information on delivery services and handling requests regarding mail hold or redirection.

Safety & Compliance: Operate delivery vehicles safely, strictly adhering to traffic laws and organizational safety protocols, especially in challenging weather or traffic conditions.

Security Standards: Protect sensitive and valuable items, ensuring that all mail is delivered to the correct location and that any issues—such as restricted access or suspicious items—are reported immediately.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of undeliverable items, registered mail signatures, and any route-specific issues that require management follow-up.

Physical Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, organized, and properly maintained, reporting any mechanical issues to the fleet department promptly.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in delivery, courier services, or high-volume route-based work is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret complex maps, delivery route sequences, and address data.

Experience operating delivery vehicles and handheld scanning devices for tracking.

Basic knowledge of postal regulations and safety procedures.
