JOB DESCRIPTION: Telemarketing / Direct Marketing Specialist
1. Job Objective
The Telemarketing Specialist is responsible for executing outbound calling campaigns to introduce products/services, identifying and developing potential sales leads, and driving conversion rates in alignment with company targets.
2. Key Responsibilities
Outbound Outreach: Execute high-volume outbound calling campaigns to prospects to introduce products, services, or special promotions.
Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify and qualify sales leads, maintaining accurate records of customer interest, objections, and contact information in the CRM system.
Direct Communication: Deliver persuasive, script-based messaging via telephone, email, and direct channels to generate immediate interest and drive conversions.
Target Achievement: Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for calls made, leads generated, and sales closed.
Relationship Building: Develop rapport with prospects, address concerns, answer questions, and overcome objections to guide them through the sales funnel.
Follow-up Management: Systematically follow up with "warm" leads to nurture relationships and maximize conversion rates.
Data Accuracy: Keep the CRM database updated in real-time, documenting interaction history to provide clear insights for marketing and sales teams.
Performance Feedback: Analyze campaign results (conversion rates, talk time, lead quality) and provide regular feedback to refine scripts and target segments.
3. Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in telemarketing, telesales, direct marketing, or a customer-facing role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
Strong command of Microsoft Office/Google Suite (specifically Excel for lead list management).
Experience with automated dialing systems or bulk email tools is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Resilience: Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain high energy throughout a high-volume calling day.
Persuasive Communication: Articulate, confident, and clear verbal communication with the ability to build rapport quickly.
