JOB DESCRIPTION: Pricing Specialist (Nhân viên Báo giá cước vận tải)
Job Responsibilities
Rate Management: Analyze market trends, carrier rates, and operational costs to develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies for all transportation services (Sea, Air, Road).

Quotation Preparation: Quickly and accurately prepare freight quotations for Sales/Customer Service teams and direct clients, ensuring high conversion rates while protecting company margins.

Carrier Negotiation: Negotiate rates and service contracts with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and overseas agents to secure the best cost structures.

Market Intelligence: Monitor fluctuations in fuel surcharges (BAF, CAF), peak season surcharges (PSS), and general market rate volatility to provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.

System Maintenance: Update and manage the internal pricing database/Rate Card to ensure all team members have access to the most current and accurate rates.

Cost Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of cost versus revenue for specific lanes or accounts to identify profitability gaps and recommend pricing adjustments.

Support & Collaboration: Act as the primary pricing point of contact for the Sales team, assisting in tender bids (RFQs/RFPs) and complex freight solutions.

Performance Reporting: Track response time for quotations and win/loss ratios; prepare reports to identify trends in business development and pricing competitiveness.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, Economics, or related fields.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in pricing, trade lane management, or operations within a freight forwarding or logistics company.

Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of logistics terminology, freight modes (FCL/LCL, Air, Road), and Incoterms.

Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, logical functions) are critical for data analysis and rate comparisons.

Analytical Ability: Strong numerical and analytical skills to calculate freight costs, currency conversions, and margin percentages accurately.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is essential for communicating with international agents/carriers).

Organization: Ability to handle multiple urgent quote requests simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.

Proactivity: A sharp "commercial sense" with the ability to foresee market changes and act before competitors.
