Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Basketball Teacher to inspire the next generation of players. In this role, you will lead youth basketball programs designed to introduce children to the game, develop their physical skills, and instill a sense of sportsmanship and teamwork. You will transform complex basketball techniques into fun, age-appropriate drills, helping children of all skill levels build confidence, coordination, and a love for the sport.

Job Responsibilities
Instructional Delivery: Lead energetic, structured, and age-appropriate basketball clinics and practices.

Skill Development: Teach core fundamentals, including dribbling, passing, shooting form, rebounding, and defensive footwork.

Curriculum Planning: Design lesson plans that progress from basic motor skills for younger children to more advanced game strategy and tactical awareness for older groups.

Positive Mentoring: Act as a positive role model, teaching values such as resilience, fair play, discipline, and the importance of supporting teammates.

Inclusive Environment: Create a welcoming, safe, and encouraging atmosphere where every child, regardless of ability, feels motivated to improve and participate.

Safety Management: Ensure all activities are conducted safely, enforcing proper warm-ups, equipment use, and injury prevention protocols.

Parent Communication: Provide regular updates to parents regarding their child’s progress, areas for development, and program highlights.

Job Requirements
Education/Experience: Previous experience coaching or teaching sports to children is required. A background in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is a plus.

Certifications: Valid coaching certification or basketball instructor credentials are highly preferred. First Aid/CPR certification is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

Thorough knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and youth development training methods.

Ability to organize and manage training equipment, drills, and court time efficiently.
