Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, patient, and safety-conscious Children’s Football Coach to lead our youth training programs. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a fun, inclusive, and development-focused environment where children can learn the fundamentals of football, improve their physical fitness, and develop essential teamwork skills. Your goal is not just to teach the game, but to foster a lifelong love for sports and help every child build confidence both on and off the field.

Job Responsibilities
Training Sessions: Plan and conduct age-appropriate, engaging, and high-energy football practices that emphasize skill building, coordination, and game understanding.

Skill Development: Teach the basics of ball control, passing, shooting, dribbling, and spatial awareness through interactive drills and mini-games.

Safety & Welfare: Ensure the highest standards of safety during all activities, including proper warm-ups, equipment checks, and adherence to child protection policies.

Positive Mentoring: Act as a positive role model, teaching values such as sportsmanship, perseverance, discipline, and respect for teammates and opponents.

Inclusive Coaching: Adapt sessions to accommodate different skill levels, ensuring that every child—from beginners to more experienced players—feels challenged and encouraged.

Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with parents regarding student progress, practice schedules, and upcoming events.

Game Management: Manage mini-matches or tournaments, ensuring the focus remains on fair play and fun rather than purely on winning.

Job Requirements
Education/Experience: Previous experience coaching children or working in a youth development setting is required. A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is a plus.

Certifications: Valid coaching license/certification (e.g., AFC, UEFA, or national FA coaching badge) is highly preferred. First Aid/CPR certification is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

Deep knowledge of football fundamentals and youth-specific training methodologies.

Ability to organize and manage equipment, training spaces, and rosters effectively.

Soft Skills:

High Energy: Ability to maintain enthusiasm and keep young children engaged for the duration of the session.

Patience & Empathy: Exceptional ability to work with children of various temperaments and skill levels.

Leadership: Clear and confident communication to give instructions to groups and manage group dynamics.
