Job Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Lecturer in the E-commerce Department to educate and inspire students in the fast-paced world of digital business. You will be responsible for teaching core modules such as E-commerce Strategy, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Data Analytics. Your objective is to bridge the gap between academic theory and the current realities of the digital economy, ensuring our graduates are equipped with both the analytical skills and the practical insight needed to lead in the global marketplace.

Job Responsibilities
Instructional Delivery: Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops on topics including E-business models, Customer Experience (CX) design, Digital Payments, E-commerce Logistics, and Marketplace Management.

Curriculum Development: Design and modernize course curricula to include the latest industry trends, such as Social Commerce, Cross-border E-commerce, AI in E-retail, and Omni-channel strategies.

Industry Integration: Facilitate guest speaker sessions, industry partnerships, and student internships to ensure the learning experience remains aligned with real-world business demands.

Academic Assessment: Create and grade assignments, projects, and examinations that measure both conceptual understanding and the ability to apply strategies to live business scenarios.

Student Research & Supervision: Mentor undergraduate and graduate students on their final-year projects or theses, particularly in areas related to digital entrepreneurship and e-commerce innovation.

Academic Contribution: Participate in departmental committee work, contribute to faculty research, and represent the department at academic conferences.

Student Mentorship: Provide academic advising and career guidance, helping students navigate the various career paths available in the e-commerce ecosystem.

Job Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in E-commerce, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field (a PhD is strongly preferred).

Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in e-commerce, digital business, or online retail, combined with prior teaching experience at the tertiary level.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or regional marketplaces).

Understanding of digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights).

Familiarity with digital payment gateways, SEO/SEM strategies, and digital logistics infrastructure.

Soft Skills:

Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex digital business trends into accessible and compelling academic content.

Adaptability: A keen interest in staying updated on the rapid evolution of digital technologies and consumer behavior.
