Job Overview
We are seeking a patient and knowledgeable Office IT Teacher to help students and professionals master the essential digital tools used in today’s modern workplace. In this role, you will provide clear, hands-on instruction on software suites (such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace), file management, internet security, and common office technologies. Your goal is to boost our learners' digital literacy, productivity, and confidence, enabling them to navigate professional environments with ease.
Job Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Conduct structured, hands-on training sessions on key office software, including Word processing (Word/Docs), Spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets), Presentation tools (PowerPoint/Slides), and Email management (Outlook/Gmail).
Skill Development: Teach essential workflow skills such as file organization, cloud storage management, data entry best practices, and effective internet search/research techniques.
Lesson Planning: Design lesson plans that cater to diverse skill levels, from absolute beginners to those looking to master advanced features like Excel formulas, pivot tables, or mail merge.
Troubleshooting Support: Provide guidance on common technical issues, such as printer configuration, basic software troubleshooting, and computer maintenance basics.
Assessment & Certification: Create practical assignments and quizzes to track learner progress and ensure they can apply their skills in real-world scenarios.
Security Awareness: Educate learners on fundamental cybersecurity practices, such as identifying phishing emails, password management, and safe browsing.
Supportive Instruction: Provide personalized assistance in the classroom, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new software functions.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in teaching IT, computer training, or providing technical support/office administration training.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel expert-level preferred) and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/macOS) and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or virtual classroom software is a plus.
