Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and organized Training Support Specialist in Event Management & Entertainment Services to join our team. As the events industry pivots toward hybrid experiences, large-scale immersive production, and high-tech guest engagement, your role is to support the next generation of event professionals. You will facilitate the delivery of training programs that blend strategic planning, creative production, and operational excellence to create memorable, seamless, and scalable events.
Job Responsibilities
Program Coordination: Manage the end-to-end logistics of training programs, including scheduling workshops, sourcing venue resources, and ensuring all audio-visual and digital platforms are set up for high-impact presentations.
Instructional Support: Assist Lead Instructors in delivering modules on event production, lighting and sound design, crowd management, vendor relations, and digital ticketing/guest experience systems.
Hands-on Lab Facilitation: Support practical workshops where learners manage mock "load-ins," stage design, project budget simulations, and crisis management drills.
Curriculum Maintenance: Assist in updating training materials to reflect current industry trends, including sustainable event practices, augmented reality (AR) in entertainment, and complex hybrid event logistics.
Vendor & Guest Speaker Liaison: Coordinate with industry partners, entertainment vendors, and guest speakers to ensure smooth program delivery and provide students with real-world networking opportunities.
Assessment & Evaluation: Oversee the submission of event proposals and post-event analysis reports. Provide constructive feedback to help learners refine their operational and creative strategies.
Quality Assurance: Monitor training effectiveness via student feedback and real-time observation, identifying improvements for resource allocation and instructional quality.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Entertainment Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in event planning, stage/production management, or hospitality operations, combined with an interest in training or educational support.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
Basic knowledge of AV/production equipment (lighting, sound, LED screens) and digital engagement tools.
Familiarity with budgeting and spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets).
Soft Skills:
Crisis Management: Ability to stay calm and solve problems instantly under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions.
Creative Coordination: Ability to bridge the gap between creative artistic vision and operational/financial constraints.
