Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Training Support Specialist in International Finance to join our academic/professional training team. As the global financial landscape becomes increasingly complex due to digital transformation, cross-border regulatory shifts, and volatile market conditions, your role is to provide essential support in the delivery of high-quality financial education. You will facilitate the seamless execution of training programs, ensuring that students and professionals gain practical insights into global capital markets, international investment strategies, and financial risk management.
Job Responsibilities
Program Coordination: Oversee the logistical and administrative execution of International Finance training modules, ensuring materials, schedules, and digital platforms are optimized for learner engagement.
Instructional Support: Assist Lead Instructors in the classroom (or virtual environments) by managing technical tools, coordinating Q&A sessions, and facilitating breakout discussions on complex topics such as FX markets, global portfolio management, and international trade finance.
Curriculum Maintenance: Assist in updating training materials to reflect current global economic trends, including the impact of fintech, changes in IFRS/GAAP standards, and emerging ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting requirements.
Lab & Simulation Facilitation: Manage practical lab sessions where learners utilize industry-standard tools (e.g., Bloomberg Terminals, Reuters Eikon, or advanced Excel modeling) to conduct financial analysis and risk assessment simulations.
Assessment & Feedback Management: Coordinate the collection and grading of assignments, capstone projects, and exams. Maintain records of learner progress and provide supplementary feedback to ensure mastery of financial concepts.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for learners, guest speakers, and industry partners. Organize industry webinars, guest lectures, and networking events to bridge the gap between academic theory and financial practice.
Quality Assurance: Monitor training effectiveness through feedback loops and performance analytics, providing recommendations to the program management team to enhance the learner experience.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, International Business, Economics, or a related field (a Master’s degree or progress toward a professional designation like CFA/FRM is highly preferred).
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in financial services, corporate finance, or an educational support role. Familiarity with financial training environments is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of international financial markets, corporate finance principles, and investment analysis.
Proficiency in financial modeling (Excel), data visualization, and learning management systems (LMS).
Familiarity with financial databases and industry-standard software (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
