Key Responsibilities
Conceptual Design: Develop creative design concepts, floor plans, and site layouts that balance aesthetic goals with functional requirements and spatial efficiency.

Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive construction documents, including detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications, using industry-standard BIM/CAD software.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all design proposals strictly adhere to local building codes, zoning ordinances, accessibility standards (ADA), and safety regulations.

Client Collaboration: Conduct consultations to define project scope, budget, and design preferences, translating these inputs into actionable design solutions.

Permitting & Approvals: Manage the preparation of permit packages and coordinate with municipal agencies to secure necessary approvals and clearances.

Construction Administration: Perform site visits to oversee construction progress, ensuring the build remains faithful to design specifications and quality standards.

Sustainable Design: Integrate sustainable building practices, energy-efficient systems, and environmentally responsible materials into the design process.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program. Architect licensure (or active path to licensure/NCARB) is highly preferred.

Experience: Professional experience in architectural design, ranging from schematic design to construction administration, with a strong portfolio of built work.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in BIM/CAD software, specifically Revit and AutoCAD.

Proficiency in 3D visualization and rendering software (e.g., Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, or Enscape).

Solid understanding of structural principles, building envelopes, and MEP integration.
