We are seeking a precise, technically proficient, and detail-oriented Architectural and Civil Drafter to transform conceptual designs into accurate, professional-grade technical drawings. Key Responsibilities
Drafting & Documentation: Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans based on sketches, engineering notes, and design specifications.

Collaboration: Partner with architects and engineers to refine design details, ensuring technical drawings align with structural requirements and design intent.

Standardization: Maintain and organize drawing libraries, templates, and documentation standards, ensuring consistency and compliance with office and industry-wide CAD/BIM protocols.

Accuracy Verification: Double-check all drawings for accuracy in dimensions, notes, and references, identifying potential design conflicts or drafting errors before construction begins.

Regulatory Coordination: Assist in the preparation of permit packages by ensuring drawings meet specific municipal requirements, building codes, and accessibility standards.

Revision Management: Manage document control for design changes, effectively tracking revisions and issuing updated sets of drawings to project teams and contractors.

Site Coordination: Provide technical support during the construction phase by creating field sketches or detail modifications as necessitated by site-specific conditions.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Associate’s degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a certificate in CADD from an accredited technical institution.

Experience: Previous experience as a drafter in an architectural or civil engineering office, with a proven portfolio demonstrating technical accuracy.

Technical Skills:

Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Revit are required. Experience with Civil 3D is highly preferred for civil-focused tasks.

Visualization: Ability to create high-quality 3D models and renderings for project presentations.

Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural and civil drafting standards, including layers, line weights, dimensioning, and symbol representation.
