Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Design: Prepare comprehensive engineering plans, blueprints, and designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and commercial structures.

Technical Analysis: Conduct site investigations and perform advanced structural analysis and soil mechanics testing to ensure the feasibility and safety of construction projects.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all engineering designs and construction activities strictly adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and permit requirements.

Project Management: Oversee on-site construction activities, coordinating with contractors, architects, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Resource Estimation: Develop accurate cost projections, material quantity take-offs, and project timelines to support effective budget management and procurement.

Quality Assurance: Monitor construction progress to ensure structural integrity and compliance with design specifications, resolving any technical issues that arise during the build.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project logs, update technical drawings, and prepare progress reports for stakeholders and government agencies.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. A Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one is highly preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in structural design, site supervision, or municipal infrastructure projects is required.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or structural analysis programs (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).

Strong knowledge of materials science, surveying techniques, and hydraulic/geotechnical principles.

Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and environmental impact assessments.
