We are seeking a diligent, hands-on, and technically skilled Civil Engineering Technician to assist our professional engineering team in the planning, design, and site supervision of infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
Site Surveys & Inspection: Perform site investigations, topographic surveys, and construction inspections to monitor progress and verify adherence to design plans.

Material Testing: Conduct laboratory and field tests on construction materials—including soil, concrete, and asphalt—to ensure compliance with engineering standards and strength requirements.

Drafting & Documentation: Assist engineers in preparing and updating technical drawings, site plans, and infrastructure layouts using CAD software.

Data Collection & Reporting: Maintain accurate field logs, project diaries, and test result reports, providing the engineering team with clear, actionable data.

Project Coordination: Assist in project scheduling, cost estimation, and the preparation of permit applications, ensuring all documentation is organized and submitted on time.

Quality Assurance: Monitor site activities for quality control, identifying potential construction deviations and communicating them promptly to the site engineer.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all site activities strictly follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols, building codes, and environmental protection standards.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related technical certification.

Experience: Previous experience in construction site supervision, surveying, or material testing laboratories is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and basic office software (Excel, Word).

Familiarity with survey equipment (e.g., total stations, levels, GPS units).

Ability to interpret complex technical blueprints, structural drawings, and grading plans.

Understanding of standard material testing procedures and civil construction terminology.
