Job Responsibilities
System Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems, including production machinery, motors, conveyors, and facility utilities.

Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in electrical circuits, control panels, sensors, and mechanical components (gearboxes, bearings, belts, pneumatic/hydraulic systems).

Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation, assembly, and setup of new production equipment, including wiring and mechanical adjustments.

Preventive Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify wear and tear, potential failures, or safety risks before they lead to downtime.

Control Systems: Assist in the maintenance and basic troubleshooting of PLCs, sensors, and automated control systems.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts replaced in the maintenance logbook or CMMS system.

Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards, including proper use of PPE, electrical lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and hazard reporting.

Continuous Improvement: Propose ideas to improve equipment performance, efficiency, and safety through modifications or better maintenance practices.

Job Requirements
Education: Vocational certificate, technical college diploma, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial factory environment.

Technical Skills:

Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.

Hands-on experience with tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.

Basic knowledge of PLCs, drives, and electrical control circuits.

Proficiency in mechanical assembly and repair (e.g., alignment, lubrication, component replacement).

Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to quickly identify the root cause of electrical or mechanical failures.

Attitude: Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a technical team.

Flexibility: Ability to work shifts, respond to emergency breakdowns (on-call rotation), and work overtime as needed.
