JOB DESCRIPTION: Plant Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and operationally-driven Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility. You will have full accountability for all aspects of factory operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, logistics, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety). Your goal is to maximize production efficiency, ensure product quality, and drive a culture of continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Direct all factory operations, ensuring production targets are met on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Production Planning: Oversee the master production schedule, resource allocation, and material management to optimize capacity utilization.

Cost Management: Manage the plant’s P&L, budget, and operational expenditures; implement cost-reduction initiatives to improve overall manufacturing efficiency.

Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance productivity.

Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards (ISO, GMP, etc.) and ensure all products meet internal and client requirements.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (EHS) regulations to ensure a zero-accident workplace.

Team Development: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing management team. Foster a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and professional development.

Supply Chain & Maintenance: Coordinate with procurement and logistics for raw materials; oversee preventative maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Business Administration. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role (Plant Manager, Production Director).

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and automated production systems.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset to identify operational bottlenecks and provide effective, data-driven solutions.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage large-scale workforces (hundreds of employees), handle labor relations, and lead organizational change.

Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills; ability to communicate complex operational data to the Board of Directors.

Language: Fluency in Vietnamese and English.
