JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Coordinator
Job Responsibilities
Production Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods based on customer orders and inventory levels.

Workflow Coordination: Act as a bridge between various departments (Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Quality Control) to ensure raw materials are available and production lines operate without interruptions.

Progress Monitoring: Track daily production progress against targets, identifying bottlenecks or potential delays and reporting them immediately to the Production Manager.

Resource Allocation: Manage the distribution of workloads and resources across shifts, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower and machinery.

Inventory Control: Monitor raw material stock levels and work-in-progress (WIP) to prevent shortages and minimize excess inventory.

Data Management & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports regarding output, efficiency, downtime, and labor productivity.

Quality & Safety Oversight: Ensure that all production activities comply with quality standards and safety regulations, fostering a culture of compliance on the shop floor.

Problem Solving: Address and troubleshoot operational issues or equipment failures, coordinating with maintenance teams for prompt repairs.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze production data, forecast requirements, and make informed decisions to optimize efficiency.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate between departments and communicate instructions clearly to the production team.

Organization: Strong multitasking and time-management skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.

Language: Proficiency in English (for reporting and documentation) is highly preferred.
