JOB DESCRIPTION: QA/QC Specialist
Job Responsibilities
Quality Inspection: Conduct rigorous inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.

Process Monitoring: Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and organized records of quality inspections, test results, and compliance reports.

Defect Handling: Identify, isolate, and document non-conforming products (rejects); participate in root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent the recurrence of issues.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and calibration of inspection tools and testing equipment to ensure accurate measurements.

Compliance Support: Assist the QA/QC Manager in preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring that all quality documentation is up to date and audit-ready.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to production processes or inspection methods to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Production team to address quality concerns immediately on the production line and provide constructive feedback to operators.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), statistical process control (SPC), and basic quality tools (e.g., Pareto charts, fishbone diagrams).

Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and data entry.

Communication: Ability to clearly report quality issues and communicate effectively with production staff and supervisors.

Attitude: Meticulous, honest, objective, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
