We are seeking a physically active, dependable, and customer-oriented Delivery Helper to support our logistics and distribution operations. In this role, you will accompany delivery drivers to ensure the safe transport, unloading, and accurate distribution of goods to residential, commercial, or retail clients. Key Responsibilities
Loading & Route Preparation: Assist drivers in loading delivery vehicles daily, ensuring products are organized efficiently based on delivery routes and secured tightly to prevent damage during transit.

Cargo Unloading & Distribution: Manually unload, lift, and carry heavy boxes, furniture, appliances, or freight from the vehicle to the client’s designated drop-off spot, utilizing hand trucks or dollies when necessary.

Order Verification & Accuracy: Cross-reference physical products against shipping manifests, invoices, or digital delivery receipts at each stop to ensure correct items and quantities are handed over.

Customer Service Excellence: Greet clients politely upon arrival, answer basic delivery questions, and maintain a professional demeanor while representing the company.

Documentation & Signature Collection: Obtain necessary customer signatures, process cash-on-delivery (COD) payments if required, and note any product returns, damages, or customer feedback on delivery logs.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Assist the driver with navigation, tight parking spots, and reversing maneuvers; help keep the vehicle interior and cargo bay clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Returns & Waste Management: Load rejected goods, trade-ins, or packaging waste back onto the truck safely, ensuring proper inventory tracking upon return to the fulfillment center.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; basic training in logistics operations or professional customer service is a plus.

Experience: 1–2+ years of experience in delivery assistance, warehouse moving, general labor, or quick-service customer relations.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating manual transport equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, furniture dollies, and lifting straps.

Basic computer literacy for navigating delivery apps, scanning barcodes via mobile devices, and updating order statuses.

Solid mathematical skills for basic counting, invoice reading, and handling cash or digital card transactions.

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical health, stamina, and strength; capable of lifting up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly and working on your feet in various weather conditions.

Highly reliable, punctual, and adaptable, with a strong ability to manage tight delivery schedules and unexpected traffic delays.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and solution-oriented approach to resolving client issues on-site.

Strong situational awareness and high regard for personal safety when moving heavy loads through stairs, narrow corridors, or busy streets.
