We are seeking a physically active, detail-oriented, and passionate Landscaping and Groundskeeping Worker to maintain and enhance the beauty, safety, and health of our outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including lawn cultivation, plant care, debris clearance, and the installation of structural landscape features. You will balance horticultural knowledge with physical stamina to ensure that gardens, lawns, and facilities look pristine and welcoming in all seasons. Key Responsibilities
Grounds & Lawn Maintenance: Mow, edge, aerate, and weed lawns, sports fields, and open green spaces using commercial mowers and trimmers.

Horticultural Care: Plant, transplant, water, fertilize, and prune trees, shrubs, hedges, and flowers according to seasonal growth requirements and design layouts.

Debris & Waste Clearance: Rake, blow, and gather leaves, clippings, and trash to keep walkways, parking lots, and garden beds clean and free of hazards.

Pest & Weed Control: Identify plant diseases or weed infestations and safely apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Irrigation Support: Monitor, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting or minor repairs on automated sprinkler and irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering.

Equipment & Tool Upkeep: Safely operate and maintain landscaping machinery, including chainsaws, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and utility vehicles, ensuring they are cleaned and fueled daily.

Hardscape & Seasonal Work: Assist with minor structural installations such as laying sod, spreading mulch, placing decorative stones, or handling snow and ice removal during winter seasons.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; certifications in horticulture, landscaping design, or a commercial pesticide applicator license are highly preferred.

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in professional landscaping, groundskeeping, gardening, or agricultural labor.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting commercial outdoor power equipment (mowers, edgers, chainsaws).

Solid understanding of basic plant care techniques, soil preparation, and appropriate pruning methods for various flora.

Familiarity with workplace safety protocols (OSHA) regarding chemical handling and heavy machinery operation.

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical stamina and strength; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors daily under diverse weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).

A keen eye for detail, symmetry, and aesthetic presentation in outdoor environments.

Highly reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or seamlessly within a crew to meet daily schedule deadlines.

Good communication skills to receive design instructions and coordinate effectively with property managers or team members.
