We are seeking a strategic, operations-focused, and compassionate Medical and Health Services Manager to oversee the business and clinical operations of our healthcare facility. In this role, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with evolving healthcare regulations, optimizing financial performance, and maintaining a high standard of patient care. Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Manage daily facility operations, including patient flow, scheduling, facility maintenance, and procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement organizational goals and objectives; analyze operational performance data to identify areas for efficiency and service improvement.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure facility adherence to all local, state, and federal healthcare laws, HIPAA regulations, and accreditation standards; maintain detailed records for audits.
Financial Management: Oversee the department budget, monitor expenditures, manage billing and revenue cycles, and work with leadership to achieve financial stability and growth.
Team Leadership: Supervise, hire, and train administrative and clinical support staff; foster a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between department heads, medical staff, patients, and external regulatory bodies; effectively communicate policies and strategic shifts.
Quality Improvement: Evaluate healthcare services and implement programs to improve clinical quality, patient safety, and overall patient satisfaction scores.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or Business Administration is required; a Master’s degree (MHA, MPH, MBA) is highly preferred.
Experience: 5–7+ years of experience in healthcare administration or clinical management.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, medical terminology, and billing/coding practices.
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare management software.
Proven experience in budget management, financial reporting, and data analysis.
Personal Attributes:
Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Ability to remain adaptable and solve complex problems in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain empathy while managing operational demands.
