We are seeking an experienced, leadership-driven Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping department and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. In this senior management role, you will oversee all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house services. If you have strong team leadership skills, deep knowledge of hospitality standards, and a passion for operational excellence and guest experience, this is an outstanding opportunity to shape the luxury and service quality of our property.
Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership: Manage, train, motivate, and evaluate the entire housekeeping team, including Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, Supervisors, and Laundry staff.
Standards & Quality Control: Establish and enforce high housekeeping standards for guest rooms, public areas, linen, uniforms, and amenities; conduct regular inspections and audits.
Operations Planning: Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, deep cleaning programs, and special project plans to ensure efficient operations.
Inventory & Budget Management: Control housekeeping supplies, linen, uniforms, and equipment inventory; manage departmental budgets, costs, and vendor relationships.
Guest Experience & Service: Collaborate with Front Office, Guest Relations, and other departments to resolve guest complaints and enhance overall satisfaction.
Training & Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on cleaning techniques, safety, hygiene, and service standards; mentor supervisors and team leaders.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure full adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations (including HACCP, local health authority standards, and brand guidelines).
Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare monthly reports on departmental performance, occupancy forecasts, and improvement initiatives; implement best practices and sustainability programs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 5–10+ years in hotel housekeeping, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or Executive Housekeeper capacity. Experience in 4–5 star hotels, resorts, or international chains is highly desirable.
Technical & Management Skills:
Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning systems, laundry management, and chemical/safety protocols.
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and housekeeping software.
Proven ability to manage large teams (50+ staff) and control operational costs.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
High attention to detail with a guest-centric service mindset.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
