We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and hardworking Gardener to maintain the beautiful landscapes, gardens, and outdoor green spaces of our hotel or resort. In this role, you will ensure our property presents an attractive, well-maintained, and inviting environment that enhances guest experience and complements the overall aesthetics. Key Responsibilities

Garden & Landscape Maintenance: Plant, prune, trim, fertilize, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, lawns, and ornamental plants across the property.
Daily Upkeep: Water plants, control weeds, apply pesticides/fertilizers safely, and maintain clean, tidy garden beds and pathways.
Seasonal & Special Projects: Design and implement seasonal displays, support event decorations, and collaborate with the Florist for lobby and public area arrangements.
Irrigation & Equipment Management: Operate and maintain irrigation systems, gardening tools, and equipment; report any malfunctions or repairs needed.
Pest & Disease Control: Monitor and treat plant diseases, pests, and issues using environmentally friendly methods where possible.
Outdoor Area Support: Assist in maintaining poolside gardens, outdoor event spaces, entrances, and walkways in coordination with Public Area and Pool teams.
Inventory & Supply: Manage gardening supplies, seeds, plants, and tools; coordinate with Storekeeper for replenishment.
Safety & Sustainability: Follow safety protocols and promote eco-friendly practices (water conservation, organic methods, waste reduction).

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or higher; certificate/diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Agriculture, or related fields is a strong advantage.
Experience: 1–5+ years as a Gardener, Groundskeeper, or in landscape maintenance. Experience in hotels, resorts, parks, or large estates is preferred.
Technical & Practical Skills:
Strong knowledge of local and tropical plants, soil care, pruning techniques, and landscaping.
Ability to operate gardening tools, mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely.
Basic understanding of pest control and fertilization methods.

Soft Skills & Attributes:
Passion for plants and outdoor work with high attention to detail and aesthetics.
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Team player with good communication skills (English is an advantage).
Reliability, initiative, and flexibility for shift work or weekend duties.
