We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and communicative Business Analyst (BA) to support the pre-opening and operational setup of our new luxury hotel and resort. This role is critical in bridging business needs with technology and operational solutions, ensuring smooth project execution, process optimization, and data-driven decision making during the hotel set-up phase and beyond.
As Business Analyst, you will work closely with the General Manager, department heads, Digital Marketing, Finance, and IT/DevOps teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and deliver actionable insights that drive efficiency and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Collaborate with stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT) to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
Conduct gap analysis between current and future hotel operations during the pre-opening phase.

Process Improvement & Documentation

Map and optimize key hotel processes (guest journey, revenue management, procurement, inventory, etc.).
Develop functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and SOPs.
Support the implementation of hotel systems (PMS, POS, CRM, Booking Engine, Magento e-commerce).

Project Support & Pre-Opening

Assist in pre-opening project planning, timeline tracking, and milestone deliverables.
Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training programs.
Support data migration, reporting setup, and dashboard development.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Create reports and dashboards for management decision-making.
Support document verification processes, compliance tracking, and audit readiness across departments.

Stakeholder Management

Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions with cross-functional teams.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams (DevOps, Magento Developer, etc.).

Requirements & Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field. MBA or BA certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.

Experience

5–9+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in hospitality, hotel pre-opening, or service industry projects.
Experience with hotel systems (Opera PMS, POS, CRM) and e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.

Technical & Analytical Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Excel (Advanced), Power BI / Tableau, Jira, and Confluence.
Experience with requirements tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Enterprise Architect).
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management principles.

Language & Soft Skills

Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Vietnamese is essential.
Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
