JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales / Business Development Executive
Job Responsibilities
Business Growth: Proactively identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities to expand the company’s market share and client base.
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and cold outreach to product demonstrations, proposal submission, and contract negotiation.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term, profitable relationships with key decision-makers and existing clients to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business.
Market Analysis: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts; provide insights to management to refine sales strategies.
Strategic Pitching: Prepare and deliver professional presentations and customized business proposals tailored to the specific needs of prospects.
KPI Achievement: Meet or exceed aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and performance targets.
Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure that sales promises are aligned with product capabilities and delivery timelines.
Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the professional network and brand presence.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
Experience: 2–4+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (logistics/SaaS/freight forwarding experience is a significant plus).
Sales Skills: Strong proficiency in prospecting, negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate value propositions clearly to C-level executives.
Data Literacy: Ability to track sales activities and performance metrics using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
Soft Skills:
Resilience: High energy and "hunter" mindset with the ability to handle rejection professionally.
Strategic Thinking: Capability to identify high-potential leads and prioritize effort effectively.
