Role Overview
We are seeking a relationship-driven, strategic, and highly motivated IT Account Manager to act as the primary liaison between our organization and our valued clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios, identifying their evolving technology needs, and ensuring they derive maximum value from our IT solutions and services. Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Serve as the trusted advisor for a dedicated client base, maintaining regular contact to understand their business objectives, operational challenges, and long-term IT roadmap.
Consultative Sales & Upselling: Proactively identify opportunities to align our IT service offerings (e.g., managed services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity) with client needs to drive revenue growth and improve client performance.
Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and service expansion.
Technical Liaison: Act as a bridge between the client and our internal technical/engineering teams, translating business requirements into actionable technical projects and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Performance Reporting: Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) to present performance metrics, project updates, and technology recommendations to client stakeholders.
Contract & Lifecycle Management: Oversee contract renewals, licensing agreements, and project proposals, ensuring accurate billing and compliance with service contracts.
Escalation Management: Take ownership of major client concerns or service issues, coordinating with internal departments to provide swift resolution and maintain trust.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field; certifications in sales, account management, or ITIL are a plus.
Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in IT account management, technical sales, or client success management, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or B2B tech environment.
Technical Skills:
Strong foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, ConnectWise) to track client interactions and sales pipelines.
Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into clear business value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.

Highly proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven, with a focus on achieving both sales goals and client satisfaction metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in presenting technical strategies and managing client expectations.
Ability to think strategically under pressure and adapt quickly to the fast-changing landscape of IT trends.
