We are seeking a curious and driven Junior Mobile App Developer to join our mobile engineering team. You will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality mobile applications. Working alongside senior developers, you will learn to bridge the gap between design mockups and functional code, ensuring our apps deliver seamless, high-performance experiences for users on mobile devices.Key ResponsibilitiesApp Development: Assist in developing and maintaining features for mobile applications using relevant languages (e.g., Swift/Kotlin for native or Dart/JavaScript for cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native). UI/UX Implementation: Translate design wireframes and prototypes into responsive, intuitive user interfaces that follow platform-specific design guidelines (Material Design for Android or Human Interface Guidelines for iOS). API Integration: Work with backend services to fetch and display data, handling JSON parsing and ensuring smooth connectivity between the app and the server. Testing & Debugging: Participate in testing (unit and UI tests) and help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues or bugs. Collaboration: Actively contribute to an Agile team, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.Documentation: Keep technical documentation up-to-date and maintain clean, readable code. Continuous Growth: Stay up-to-date with emerging mobile technologies, platform updates (iOS/Android releases), and best practices. Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.Technical Foundation:Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.Proficiency in at least one mobile-relevant language: Swift, Kotlin, Java, Dart, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with mobile IDEs (Android Studio or Xcode). Core Skills:Knowledge of mobile data management (e.g., local storage like SQLite/Room/Core Data). Understanding of RESTful APIs and how mobile apps communicate with a backend.Familiarity with Git for version control. Soft Skills: Strong analytical/problem-solving mindset, high attention to detail, and a team-oriented, collaborative attitude.Preferred Skills (Bonus)Experience with cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter or React Native). Understanding of common mobile architectures (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and mobile deployment processes (App Store/Play Store). A portfolio of personal projects or academic work on GitHub that shows you can build a working mobile app.
