JOB DESCRIPTION: Junior Web Developer (WordPress / Shopify)
Job Responsibilities
Theme & Plugin Development: Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress themes and Shopify liquid templates.

Website Maintenance: Perform regular updates to plugins, themes, and core files to ensure website security, performance, and compatibility.

Content Management: Support the marketing and content teams by uploading content, managing media assets, and making layout adjustments in the CMS.

Bug Fixing: Troubleshoot and resolve basic front-end (CSS/JS) and back-end (PHP) issues on existing client websites.

Platform Integration: Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins (e.g., payment gateways, CRM forms, analytics trackers) into WordPress or Shopify stores.

Performance Optimization: Implement basic optimization techniques such as image compression, caching, and clean code practices to improve page load speeds.

Collaboration: Work under the guidance of Senior Developers to learn best practices and contribute to team projects.

Quality Assurance: Perform cross-browser and mobile-responsive testing to ensure a consistent user experience.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Experience: 0–2 years of experience. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio or internship experience are welcome to apply.

Technical Skills:

Core: Solid understanding of PHP (essential for WordPress) and JavaScript.

WordPress: Experience with theme customization, plugin installation, and basic knowledge of the WordPress hierarchy.

Shopify: Basic understanding of Liquid templating and Shopify theme administration.

Front-end: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive frameworks (like Bootstrap or Tailwind).

Tools: Familiarity with Git, VS Code, and browser developer tools.
