Job Description: Junior QA/QC Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior QA/QC Engineer to join our development team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our software products by identifying bugs, executing test cases, and ensuring that our applications meet business requirements before they reach our users. You will work closely with developers and product managers to improve software reliability and performance, learning industry-standard testing methodologies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Test Execution: Execute manual test cases and check for functionality, usability, and performance issues across web and mobile platforms.

Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla).

Test Planning: Assist in the creation of test scenarios and test cases based on project requirements and user stories.

Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code updates do not negatively impact existing features.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, report bugs with detailed steps to reproduce, and verify fixes.

Documentation: Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test summaries, and release notes.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in team retrospectives to suggest improvements to the development and testing process.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Testing Fundamentals:

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Familiarity with different types of testing: Unit, Integration, System, and Acceptance testing.

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of SQL to verify data in databases.

Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to test them (e.g., using Postman).

Familiarity with web and mobile testing environments.

Tools: Exposure to bug tracking tools (Jira) and version control (Git).

Soft Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail and "investigative" mindset.

Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to developers.

Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Bonus)
Knowledge of Test Automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright).

Basic understanding of programming logic (Java, Python, or JavaScript) for writing automated test scripts.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Understanding of Performance Testing basics (e.g., JMeter).
