JOB DESCRIPTION: Product Owner / Product Manager
Job Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and goals to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market needs.

Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the Product Backlog, creating clear and actionable User Stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements that guide development.

Market & User Research: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and user behavior data to identify new opportunities, validate hypotheses, and drive product innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the central point of contact between business stakeholders (management, marketing, sales) and the technical team (developers, designers, QA) to manage expectations and ensure seamless delivery.

KPI & Performance Tracking: Define and track product success metrics (KPIs) such as User Acquisition, Retention, Conversion Rate, and ROI; use data to drive iterative improvements.

Cross-functional Leadership: Lead the product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery, facilitating decision-making and resolving trade-offs regarding scope, budget, and time-to-market.

Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the user within the team, ensuring that features solve real problems and provide tangible value to the end-customer.

Iterative Release Management: Plan release cycles and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful feature launches and post-launch optimization.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. (MBA is a plus).

Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, preferably in software, e-commerce, or SaaS environments.

Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to translate high-level business goals into a structured, executable product roadmap.

Data Literacy: Strong analytical skills; ability to use tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, SQL, etc.) to make data-driven decisions.

Technical Literacy: Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and designers; deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Soft Skills:

Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and storytelling skills.

Empathy: Deep user-centric mindset to understand customer pain points and motivations.

Prioritization: Ability to say "no" and manage competing priorities effectively under pressure.

Certifications: CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or equivalent product management certifications are highly preferred.
