We are seeking a fast-paced, efficiency-driven, and safety-conscious Fast Food Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items to order, maintaining a pristine workstation, and ensuring that every guest receives their meal quickly and consistently. Key Responsibilities
Order Preparation: Execute cooking tasks with speed and precision, including grilling, frying, and assembling food items according to standardized recipes and portion controls.
Station Efficiency: Manage station workflow during peak periods to minimize customer wait times, ensuring all components of a meal are ready for service simultaneously.
Quality & Consistency: Monitor food temperature and appearance, ensuring that every dish meets our brand standards for quality, presentation, and taste before delivery.
Sanitation & Safety: Strictly adhere to food safety regulations (HACCP), including proper handwashing, cross-contamination prevention, and regular sanitization of surfaces and equipment.
Inventory Maintenance: Monitor ingredient levels, rotate stock using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods, and inform management of low supply levels to maintain consistent operational flow.
Equipment Care: Maintain cleanliness of grills, fryers, and prep tools throughout the shift, performing scheduled cleaning tasks to ensure equipment longevity and safety.
Team Coordination: Communicate clearly with counter staff and fellow kitchen team members to coordinate order flow and handle special requests or large volume demands effectively.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: No formal education required; a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus. Basic Food Handler’s certification is highly preferred.
Experience: Entry-level position; no prior experience is required, though previous fast food or kitchen experience is beneficial.
Technical Skills:
Ability to learn and operate commercial kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, sandwich assembly lines).
Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and temperature control regulations.
Ability to follow standardized recipes and operational procedures precisely.
Personal Attributes:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistent quality under pressure.
Highly reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Physically capable of standing for long shifts and moving quickly within a confined kitchen space.
Positive team player who is willing to take direction and adapt to changing service demands.
