We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented, and communication-focused Expediter/Food Runner to act as the vital link between our kitchen and dining room. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing the flow of orders, ensuring food is prepared correctly, and delivering dishes to guests with precision and speed. Key Responsibilities
Order Coordination: Manage the kitchen "pass" by organizing incoming tickets, calling out orders to the kitchen staff, and ensuring that all components of a dish are ready for service simultaneously.

Quality Assurance: Inspect every plate before it leaves the kitchen to ensure it meets our standards for presentation, temperature, and specific guest modifications.

Efficient Delivery: Rapidly transport prepared food from the kitchen to the guest’s table, ensuring dishes arrive fresh and are delivered to the correct recipient.

Communication Bridge: Facilitate clear and constant communication between the kitchen (chefs/cooks) and the front-of-house (servers/hosts) to manage timing and resolve bottlenecks.

Service Support: Assist servers with table-side needs, such as refilling water, delivering extra condiments, or clearing empty plates to maintain dining room standards.

Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized pass area and adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols to prevent cross-contamination.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address potential delays or service issues, escalating concerns to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ideally as a food runner, busser, or server.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of kitchen terminology and flow.

Ability to read and organize order tickets quickly and accurately.

Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
