Key Responsibilities
Guest Reception: Greet every guest with a warm, professional welcome upon arrival, manage the guest flow, and handle reservation check-ins with efficiency and grace.

Seating Management: Oversee the floor plan, strategically seating guests to balance server workloads and ensure smooth service flow throughout the establishment.

Inquiry Handling: Answer phone calls, manage online/in-person reservation systems, and provide accurate information regarding wait times, menu highlights, and establishment policies.

Atmosphere Maintenance: Monitor the cleanliness and readiness of the entrance and waiting area, ensuring a polished, inviting environment at all times.

Communication: Act as a critical communication bridge between guests and the service team, relaying special requests, dietary needs, and VIP status updates effectively.

Conflict Mitigation: Manage waitlists professionally, handling guest questions or frustrations with patience and empathy to maintain service quality during peak hours.

Team Support: Assist servers and management as needed during busy shifts, including clearing tables or resetting dining areas to ensure fast guest turnover.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a customer-facing role is highly preferred.

Experience: 1–2+ years of experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in restaurant reservation and table management software (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, Yelp Waitlist).

Basic knowledge of POS systems or scheduling tools is a plus.

Ability to learn and memorize floor plans and table configurations quickly.
