We are seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented Butcher or Meat Cutter to join our food preparation team. Key Responsibilities
Precision Cutting & Deboning: Perform expert-level cutting, trimming, and deboning of various meat types (beef, pork, poultry, lamb) according to specific cuts and weight requirements.

Inventory & Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for quality, freshness, and temperature compliance; rotate stock to maintain optimal shelf life (FIFO).

Product Preparation: Prepare specialized meat products, such as sausages, marinated cuts, and ready-to-cook items, ensuring consistency in recipes and quality.

Display & Merchandising: Creatively arrange and display meat products in cases to maximize visual appeal and entice customers, ensuring clear and accurate pricing and labeling.

Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain essential machinery (e.g., band saws, grinders, slicers, tenderizers) and maintain razor-sharp precision with hand tools.

Sanitation & Safety: Adhere strictly to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines, health department regulations, and OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe, sanitary workspace.

Customer Service: Provide expert advice to customers regarding meat selection, preparation methods, cooking times, and storage tips.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in meat cutting or culinary arts is highly preferred.

Experience: Proven experience as a professional butcher or meat cutter, with an extensive portfolio of cutting techniques and meat fabrication.

Technical Skills:

Expert proficiency in using knives, grinders, saws, and other industrial meat preparation equipment.

Deep knowledge of food safety, cross-contamination prevention, and temperature-controlled handling.

Understanding of different meat grades, cuts, and the ability to explain them to customers or chefs.
