We are seeking a proactive, motivating, and performance-driven First-line Supervisor to lead our retail sales team toward operational excellence. In this role, you will be the bridge between store management and the sales floor, responsible for coaching staff, optimizing daily workflows, and ensuring that every customer interaction meets our high standards for service. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching: Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and feedback to sales staff to improve product knowledge, selling techniques, and service quality.
Operational Oversight: Manage daily store operations, including shift scheduling, staff assignments, and ensuring opening/closing procedures are executed correctly.
Performance Management: Monitor individual and team sales KPIs, identifying performance gaps and implementing actionable plans to reach revenue goals.
Customer Conflict Resolution: Serve as the first point of escalation for complex customer issues, resolving problems with empathy and professionalism to ensure brand loyalty.
Merchandising & Inventory Integrity: Ensure the sales floor is optimally merchandised, visually appealing, and that all inventory processes—from stock replenishment to loss prevention—are strictly followed.
Policy Compliance: Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and labor laws, maintaining a safe and ethical environment for both staff and shoppers.
Reporting: Track daily/weekly store performance metrics and provide concise updates to upper management regarding sales trends and staffing needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is an asset.
Experience: Proven experience as a top-performing retail salesperson, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in modern Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and retail management software (e.g., inventory tracking, labor scheduling).
Strong analytical ability to interpret sales reports, margin data, and labor budget figures.
Competence in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools for scheduling and reporting.

Problem-Solving: Decisive and calm under pressure, with the ability to diagnose operational issues and implement solutions quickly.
