We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and efficient Material Mover to join our logistics and operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical transport of raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout our facility. You will serve as the engine of our internal supply chain, ensuring that materials are in the right place at the right time to keep production or shipping schedules on track. Key Responsibilities
Material Transport: Safely move materials from receiving docks to storage, production areas, or outbound shipping bays using manual or powered equipment.

Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), dollies, or carts, according to safety protocols.

Load Securement: Ensure all materials are loaded, unloaded, and secured properly to prevent damage during transit or storage.

Inventory Staging: Organize and stage materials in designated zones, ensuring that high-traffic areas remain clear and that items are easily accessible for the next stage of the process.

Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA and internal safety guidelines, including using proper lifting techniques, wearing required PPE, and maintaining clear pathways.

Documentation: Assist in verifying material counts and documenting the transfer of goods to ensure accurate inventory tracking.

Operational Readiness: Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, or distribution environment is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).

Forklift certification is highly desirable (or the ability/willingness to obtain one).

Understanding of basic warehouse organization and safety standards.
