We are seeking a precise, service-oriented, and reliable Pharmacy Technician/Aide to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
Prescription Processing: Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications by accurately interpreting prescriptions, counting/pouring medications, and labeling containers.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, process incoming orders, and ensure that expired or damaged products are removed from inventory immediately.

Patient Interaction: Greet patients, handle intake procedures, answer basic questions regarding pharmacy hours or status updates, and collect insurance information.

Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient records, verify insurance coverage, process co-payments, and manage electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Workplace Sanitation: Keep the pharmacy workspace, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with health department and board of pharmacy standards.

Regulatory Compliance: Strictly adhere to all legal requirements regarding controlled substances, safety protocols, and dispensing policies to minimize risks and ensure patient safety.

Collaborative Care: Work closely with pharmacists to resolve insurance billing issues, coordinate refills with healthcare providers, and ensure all prescriptions are ready in a timely manner.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (e.g., CPhT) or completion of a formal training program is highly preferred (or required, depending on local jurisdiction).

Experience: Previous experience in a retail, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy setting is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., PioneerRx, Epic, or similar systems).

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, basic pharmacology, and insurance billing/coding.

Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy protocols.
