JOB DESCRIPTION: E-commerce Sales Team Leader
Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the e-commerce sales team to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, TikTok Shop, or Company Website) to boost traffic and conversion rates.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as GMV, traffic, conversion rate, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor sales campaigns, flash sales, and seasonal promotions, ensuring seamless coordination with Marketing and Operations departments.
Customer Experience: Oversee customer service standards, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries, effective conflict resolution, and positive reviews/ratings for the store.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights for senior management.
Relationship Management: Maintain good relations with E-commerce platform Key Account Managers (KAMs) to secure slots for campaigns and leverage platform support.
Job Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead role.
Platform Expertise: Proven track record of successfully managing major e-commerce marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop).
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret sales reports, and translate insights into strategy.
Leadership: Demonstrated capability in training, managing, and inspiring a team.
Communication: Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Mindset: Result-oriented, proactive, and highly adaptable to the fast-paced nature of e-commerce.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
