JOB DESCRIPTION: Security Supervisor
1. Job Objective
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security team, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets. The role involves managing daily security operations, responding to emergencies, and maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

2. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule security personnel, ensuring they are well-prepared to execute their duties effectively.

Surveillance & Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks, safety hazards, or unauthorized activities.

Incident Response: Serve as the primary responder for emergencies (e.g., fire, intrusion, medical crises), coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Access Control: Monitor and manage entry/exit points, verify identification, and oversee the use of security equipment such as CCTV systems and electronic access controls.

Policy Enforcement: Ensure all employees and visitors comply with corporate security policies, health and safety regulations, and building procedures.

Reporting: Maintain detailed incident logs, shift reports, and performance records, providing regular status updates to management.

Risk Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities in physical security and recommend proactive solutions to enhance protection.

3. Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Security Management or a related field is highly preferred.

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating CCTV monitoring software and security alarm systems.

Strong familiarity with incident report documentation and record-keeping.

Basic knowledge of fire safety and first aid procedures (certifications are a plus).
