1. Job Objective
The Warehouse Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding the warehouse facility, inventory, and personnel. The role ensures strict adherence to security procedures, manages access control for staff and vehicles, and prevents theft, unauthorized entry, or damage to company assets.

2. Key Responsibilities
Asset Protection: Conduct regular patrols throughout the warehouse (indoor and outdoor) to identify security breaches or safety hazards.

Access Control: Monitor entry/exit points for employees, visitors, and delivery vehicles; verify gate passes, shipping documents, and cargo seals to ensure inventory integrity.

Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems and fire alarm panels, reporting any suspicious activities or technical malfunctions immediately.

Inventory Security: Assist in checking goods-in/goods-out against delivery manifests; report any discrepancies or damage immediately.

Emergency Response: Act as a first responder in cases of fire, accident, or theft; coordinate with local emergency services and management according to standard protocols.

Policy Enforcement: Ensure all warehouse personnel adhere to safety rules, such as wearing PPE and following restricted-area guidelines.

Logging & Reporting: Maintain accurate shift logs, visitor registers, and incident reports; provide detailed updates during shift handovers.

3. Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Formal security training or military/police background is highly preferred.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in security operations, specifically in warehouse, logistics, or industrial environments.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with modern security equipment (CCTV, metal detectors, walkie-talkies).

Basic computer skills for logging entries and viewing surveillance footage.

Understanding of logistics documentation (gate passes, shipping invoices) is a plus.
