We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Senior Tester (QA Engineer) to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of all digital platforms for our new luxury hotel and resort during the pre-opening and operational phases. This role is critical in testing complex hospitality systems including website, Magento 2 e-commerce, booking engine, mobile applications, PMS integrations, and other guest-facing technologies.
As Senior Tester, you will lead testing strategies, execute test plans, and work closely with Frontend Developers, Magento Developers, DevOps Engineers, Business Analysts, and the Digital Marketing team to deliver flawless digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for web, mobile, and backend systems.
Define testing scope for new features, integrations, and pre-opening digital launches.

Manual & Automation Testing

Perform end-to-end manual testing (functional, regression, usability, compatibility, performance).
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Appium, etc.).
Test critical flows: online booking, payment processing, room inventory, retail e-commerce, and user authentication.

Integration & System Testing

Validate integrations between Magento 2, PMS (Opera or similar), payment gateways, CRM, and third-party services.
Conduct API testing, database validation, and cross-browser / cross-device testing.

Pre-Opening & Release Support

Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
Perform load and stress testing to ensure system readiness for grand opening traffic.
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and performance standards.
Support document verification for test reports, QA documentation, and compliance records.
Mentor junior testers and promote quality best practices across the team.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Provide regular QA reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards to management.
Contribute to process improvement and test automation framework development.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience

6–10+ years of experience in software testing / QA.
At least 3–5 years in a Senior Tester or QA Lead role.
Strong experience testing e-commerce platforms, booking engines, or hospitality systems is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

Expert in manual testing and test case management.
Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, REST Assured.
Proficiency in SQL, Jira, Confluence, and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr).
Knowledge of CI/CD, AWS, and performance testing tools is a strong advantage.
Experience with Magento 2, React/Next.js, and mobile testing is preferred.

Language & Soft Skills

Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Vietnamese is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
