JOB DESCRIPTION: Transportation Sales Executive (Nhân viên Kinh doanh Dịch vụ Vận tải)
Job Responsibilities
Business Development: Proactively identify and acquire new corporate clients (manufacturers, retailers, importers/exporters) to grow the company’s transportation service portfolio.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize account retention.
Sales Strategy: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies, including pricing models and service packages.
Consultative Selling: Conduct meetings and presentations to understand client logistics needs and provide tailored transportation solutions (e.g., FTL/LTL, domestic trucking, multi-modal transport).
Quotation & Contract Negotiation: Prepare competitive price quotations, negotiate service contracts, and close deals in alignment with company profit margins.
Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Operations and Planning teams to ensure that the committed service levels are delivered effectively to the customers.
Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools; prepare regular reports on sales performance and revenue growth.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about changes in the logistics industry, government regulations, and fuel/market price fluctuations to advise clients effectively.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in transportation, freight forwarding, or logistics services.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of the transportation market, freight rates, and logistics terminology.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Sales Competencies: Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and public speaking skills.
Communication: Fluent in Vietnamese and English (both written and spoken) to communicate with both domestic and international clients.
Problem-Solving: Proactive and solution-oriented mindset; ability to handle objections and resolve customer conflicts professionally.
Network: An existing network of potential clients in the manufacturing or distribution sectors is a significant advantage.
