Key Responsibilities
Inbound Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming delivery trucks, verify physical item counts against purchase orders or packing slips, inspect goods for damage, and log data into the tracking system.

Inventory Put-Away & Staging: Transport received materials safely to designated storage zones, shelves, or cold bays using pallet jacks or utility carts, ensuring strict adherence to warehouse layout plans.

Order Picking & Consolidation: Read digital picking sheets or listen to voice-directed commands to locate, pull, and aggregate specific products from warehouse shelves accurately for pending shipments.

Packing & Secure Wrapping: Pack consolidated orders efficiently into shipping containers, apply protective bubble wraps, seal cartons securely, and print/affix accurate shipping and routing labels.

Material Handling Equipment Operation: Safely operate manual and electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and strapping tools; conduct daily pre-shift safety checks on all assigned machinery.

Inventory Auditing & Cycle Counting: Participate in routine physical inventory counts and cycle audits to reconcile actual shelf quantities with digital database records, identifying discrepancies quickly.

Warehouse Sanitation & Hazard Control: Maintain a spotlessly clean, organized workspace by breaking down cardboard boxes, sweeping aisles, disposing of trash, and ensuring fire lanes and emergency exits remain completely unblocked.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; certifications in forklift operation (Counterbalance, Reach Truck) or OSHA workplace safety compliance are highly valued.

Experience: 0–2+ years of experience in commercial warehousing, industrial logistics, distribution center operations, supply chain kitting, or heavy manual labor.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in utilizing handheld RF barcode scanners, digital inventory apps on tablets, and basic Warehouse Management Software (WMS).

Solid mathematical skills for executing rapid unit counting, tracking box dimensions, and auditing weight manifests.

Deep understanding of proper ergonomic lifting techniques and standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mandates (steel-toe boots, high-visibility vests).

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical health, core strength, and endurance; capable of lifting up to 50–70 lbs repeatedly and walking/standing on hard concrete floors for entire shifts.

Sharp attention to detail, ensuring SKU codes, serial numbers, and quantities match digital orders perfectly to eliminate shipping errors.

Highly reliable, disciplined, and punctual, with a strong internal drive to meet strict daily packing quotas and shipping deadlines.

Excellent situational awareness to navigate safely around moving heavy machinery, overhead storage units, and dynamic loading docks.
