Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Training Support Specialist in Quality Management to join our faculty team. As industries ranging from manufacturing to services strive for operational excellence, your role is to support the training of future quality professionals. You will facilitate the delivery of curricula that blend core quality principles (such as Six Sigma and Lean) with the practical realities of ISO standards, risk management, and continuous improvement, ensuring that learners are equipped to enhance organizational performance and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Program Coordination: Manage the logistical execution of Quality Management training modules, including scheduling workshops, preparing training datasets, and managing the laboratory environments used for audit and inspection simulations.
Instructional Support: Assist Lead Instructors in facilitating workshops on key quality frameworks, including Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001 standards, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Applied Lab Facilitation: Manage practical sessions where learners perform quality audits, design control charts, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) exercises using industry-standard quality management software.
Curriculum Maintenance: Assist in updating training materials to reflect the latest quality benchmarks, including advancements in digital quality monitoring and automated non-conformance reporting systems.
Assessment & Feedback: Coordinate the grading of simulation projects and improvement proposals. Provide supplemental guidance to ensure learners can correctly interpret quality data and apply problem-solving tools.
Industry & Stakeholder Liaison: Organize guest lectures with Quality Assurance (QA) Managers and external auditors. Facilitate site visits to companies with mature quality management systems to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice.
Quality Assurance: Monitor training effectiveness via student evaluations and assessments of practical skills, providing actionable recommendations to enhance our internal program quality.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Operations Management, or a related field (a Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is highly preferred).
Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), or process improvement, combined with an interest in educational support.
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, or other relevant management standards.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (Minitab, SPSS, or Excel-based SPC) and process mapping software (Visio).
Familiarity with non-conformance reporting (NCR) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
