Job Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, utility systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure high equipment availability and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic/hydraulic failures. Lead the technical response to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Maintenance Planning: Assist in the development and execution of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule. Track maintenance activities and update equipment history logs.
Project Execution: Participate in the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment, production lines, or facility improvements (CAPEX projects).
Root Cause Analysis: Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement long-term technical solutions to improve reliability and performance.
Spare Parts Management: Identify, specify, and manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure quick response to equipment malfunctions.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in strict accordance with safety protocols, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety standards.
Team Support: Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to technicians and operators to enhance their ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing/factory environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
Experience with PLC programming/troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron) is a significant advantage.
Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to work under pressure during production breakdowns.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or ERP software.
Attitude: Proactive, organized, and a strong sense of responsibility toward safety and equipment reliability.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, participate in an on-call rotation, or work overtime during peak production or shutdown periods.
